Dear friends, we have magical news. Recently, we finished the filming period of our kind and magical New Year’s TV movie titled “Novorichna zmina.”

An incredible adventure, love, and a snow-white dog await our viewers on January 1, 2024!

The festive story, created by ICTV Channel in collaboration with SFERA FILM studio, will tell about the adventures of Ukrainian police officers on New Year’s Eve and will also bring back a four-legged hero—a dog capable of finding the most dangerous criminals. Its creators promise: the film will fill viewers with the magic of the holiday and once again prove that light always triumphs over darkness.

According to the plot, police lieutenant Ostap Mazur, played by actor Ivan Zhilyuk, investigates a complicated case on the eve of the New Year. He is partnered with his future father-in-law, Captain Yuriy Bohdanovych Kovalenko (Serhiy Solopay), who does not consider the young man worthy of his daughter Lana (Valeria Fokina). Despite their personal conflict, the heroes will have to work together, as the life of their loved one—Lana—is at stake. Will the men be able to find common ground to solve the case, save the capital, and the New Year’s holiday?

A Samoyed dog named Mars participated in the filming. In “New Year’s Shift,” he played Shchedryk, the police assistant who helps find criminals.

The official soundtrack of the film is the song “Believe in Miracles” by singers Kola & Vlada K. Viewers will also hear a song by performer Nichka (Dayana Kulbida), who starred in one of the roles.

The main characters are ambulance workers in Kharkiv, who, under constant shelling and bombing in February-March 2022, saved civilians and soldiers of their city. The war drama “I AM Hope”, shot by SFERA FILM during a full-scale war, was shortlisted for the “Golden Dziga” national film award in the “Best Series” category.

We will remind you that the four-episode war drama “I AM Hope” is based on real events. This is a story about Kharkiv ambulance workers who, in the first months of the war, despite fear and fatigue, despite shelling and bombing, saved the city’s civilians and soldiers. From April 27, the series can be viewed on the international streaming platform Netflix.

In addition to the drama “I am Hope”, the series “Ukraine on Fire 2” and “Coffee of your city” will compete for victory in this category. Voting for jury members will take place from June 30 to July 24.

Before the war, he loses everything – his bride leaves him, and then he is left without work. On the eve of the invasion, Artem gets drunk and wakes up in the morning from explosions and a terrible hangover.

Confused and devastated, Artem realizes that the unexpected war becomes a new starting point for him – a moment from which he can start rebuilding himself. Already in the training unit, he is given the call sign “Tamada”, at first as a mockery, but later in this call sign in the speech of his brothers in arms, more and more real respect becomes. “Tamada” is not one of those who are born to be a hero, but is forced to become one, although he treats this with a smile and humor.
