“I AM Hope” is a four-episode war drama about emergency medical workers who showed extraordinary bravery, desperation, and dedication to their profession during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, saving lives. It is the first war drama series by the 2+2 channel, filmed during the war in Ukraine. The main characters are ambulance workers in Kharkiv, who, under constant shelling and bombing in February-March 2022, saved civilians and soldiers of their city. Despite the real danger and her boyfriend’s pleas to move to a safer place, young paramedic Nadia decides to stay in besieged Kharkiv, not knowing what awaits her in the coming weeks—sleepless nights on duty, painful losses, daily risk to save others, and a face-to-face encounter with the enemy.
