Oleksandr and Maria Malyshky are a loving couple. But as soon as they step out of the house, they turn into fierce rivals — a detective and a lawyer. While Oleksandr is convinced of the criminal’s guilt, Maria believes in her client’s innocence. The intrigue of each episode lies in finding out who is right. To gather enough evidence for their own versions, both have to interrogate witnesses, pick locks, examine crime scenes, fight, shoot, and race. This rivalry leads not only to comedic situations but also to family conflicts, which, however, are resolved within the same episode in which they arise.
